Germans definitely know what they’re doing when it comes to potato salad you’ll first want to boil two pounds of potatoes until they’re cooked drain them in a colander and peel the outside skin cut these into half inch cubes and then you’re gonna saute up some bacon keep

That bacon fat in the skillet and add in some sweet onion and garlic saute this until the onions are tender and add in some broth vinegar some mustard sugar to balance out that vinegar and some salt and pepper whisk this together and simmer until it is reduced add in the potatoes

Along with a couple tablespoons of oil give it a good toss and then add in that crumbled bacon serve it up warm with some fresh parsley and enjoy

  1. As a german i can say this not a potato-salad, because i'd love that to eat that – and i hate german potato salad. If u want compare your dish with a german one it's rather like "Bratkartoffeln" (fried potatos) 😁
