Hi it’s Stephanie’s dish and welcome to my Channel today we are making maple bacon it’s a pretty easy recipe but super delicious and great for if you’re having like guess over for a brunch or if you want to have like an amped up BLT yum why wouldn’t you so first I’m going to

Line a pan with tin foil and you’re really doing this just because it can be kind of messy and it just saves you a little bit on the mess which everybody’s looking to save on the mess right I just have a broiler pan and I’m putting a wire rack on

Top and this is going to be what I’m going to set my bacon on so I’m just going to lay the bacon down and I used a whole pound all right I have my slices all nicely laid out I’m adding brown sugar and it’s about 1/4 cup with about

3 tablespoons of maple syrup and I’m just going to heat that in the microwave for about 30 seconds okay so after about 30 seconds your sugars are melting in with your maple syrup and you’re getting a beautiful glaze that you’re just going to brush on

Your bacon before you put it in the oven now if you wanted to you could just be a little less fussy and just sprinkle things but I kind of like everything uniform and you’re going to give this a quick shellacking now like I said if you’re someone who likes spicy you could just

Throw some cayenne pepper here on top or a little Cajun seasoning and you’d get that my my other recipe has quite a bit of black pepper so it makes a little bit spicier and you’re going to cook this bacon for about 22 minutes low and slow 375 it’s going to get this really

Crunchy delicious Brown top and it’s going to have just that right hint of sweet that you’re looking for and it’s mapley too so it’s sort of like yum super delicious all right I think we have used all of our glaze there we go easy recipe but people always ask me
