Continue the project as I introduced yesterday. Today I finished clearing the area that will be the base for my vegetable garden. I've loosened the soil a bit, so it's smooth enough for seeds or seedlings. I'm also planning two raised beds (I have the ingredients, just need to put them together), and a couple of small areas where I'll plant tomatoes and strawberries. I really like raised beds, they're convenient and practical, and easier to keep clean than ground. I managed to find a quite good garden planning app for tablet called Planter, I recommend it to everyone. I've attached a picture of the area plan, I've tried to pick vegetables that can be grown with relatively little care, and that we also enjoy eating. What do you think, will it work?

I'm starting with radishes, once harvested I'll replace them with zucchinis. The rest I have planned to give a harvest all season. And as I said, radishes, lettuce, leeks and carrots will go in the raised bed and tomatoes will be in another spot. That's all for now, neither the size of the area nor my free time allows for more varied crops, but of course it would be nice to try as many as possible and see what happens later 🙂
