Noticing these blotchy brown areas down to the seed on these tomato’s. Looks almost like something chewed it but no bite marks. Anybody know what this is?

It’s just catfacing….afaik, there isn’t anything else going on otherwise to cause the seeds to be exposed; just “super-duper catfacing”, pretty much 🙂

Supposed to be different reasons for catfacing, one would be cooler conditions during flowering. https://ag.umass.edu/vegetable/fact-sheets/tomato-cat-facing
