How to Make Martha Stewart’s Tsoureki (Traditional Greek Easter Bread)
In Greece around Easter time you’ll find Suki 1 cup of room temperature water 3 tbspoon of Honey 3/4 of an ounce of fresh yeast 1 tbspoon of salt 1 tbspoon of orange zest 1/4 of a cup of vegetable oil bread flour so a/4 of a cup of sugar
And I’ll just turn this on I still have to add eight egg yolks and this goes right into an oiled bowl and put this in a dry warm spot until it’s at least dou in bulk now turn this out onto a flowed surface and cut it into three equal
Pieces roll into a snake braid as you would a hair braid now put this in a dry warm place until it is doubled in bulk brush every single square cm with your egg glaze preheated 375° oven going to take about an hour to bake serve it with unsalted butter
Wouldn’t you like to have a taste of this right now
