Do people agree? I’ve never been a Sriracha person so I can’t say.

It’s not as hot, or even close IMO, and also tastes different to me. I still like it but I’ve moved to underwood farms, which has the heat of the original. While the flavor is different, it’s appealing to me

I just tried it for the first time in like 7 years. It is absolutely not the same sauce and actually not that good. I’d rather buy the chili garlic in the small jars.

I can’t even buy this in my area anymore. Used to be a staple in my refrigerator. Tasted incredible on Chinese, Indian and Tai food.

I just got a bottle the other day since all this bullshit went down. It’s been so long since I’ve had it, it tastes the same to me

sriracha was just a trend to me just like everything else. 5 hour energy, Red Bull, Tabasco hot sauce, sweet baby rays, chick fila, whatever. There will be a new sauce that takes the mainstream crown eventually

I don’t get any heat at all from it.. Just garlic tbh. But I have quite a high heat tolerance so maybe it’s that.

Some suggest that the Huy Fong recipe produces a different tasting sauce because the peppers are grown on a different farm. I’m just not sure. It tastes identical to me. I can’t perceive a single difference. But I have absolutely no qualms with those that do find a difference. Over time our taste buds & perceptions change ever so slightly. Or at least mine have. Best to all.

Garlic sugar sauce, not a hot sauce….

I can’t even find it anywhere in my area since the fiasco. Lee Kum Kee, Tabasco, Sky Valley, Panich are available but Huy Fong is nowhere to be seen.

I never understood the hoopla about it. Flavour never hit right for me.

I’m so fucking tired of hearing and explaining the company change and pepper farmer issue. Fuck

I just found some last week and I do think it has less heat, but I still enjoy it. With less heat I use more of it.

I found “Tuonong OT” or something?? brand at Restaurant Depot that looks nearly identical….the bottle is just less busy with text and it has a red twist top instead of the green, and its colored every so slightly darker.
I like it SO much more than the Rooster brand. It’s SO bright and fresh and has a decent amount of heat.

You need Dragon Sriracha if you want OG taste, Huy Fung done messed up

I dunno bout that, I just bought a bottle at a local HMart and it had a kick. I think either the batch of peppers they used or they tweaked the recipe again

I made the switch to the Tabasco Sriracha. Best life decision I’ve made.

I haven’t had it since before the change, but it was never particularly hot? That’s like, a huge part of why it was so popular.

Eh never was much of a fan. It reminds me of a fancy garlic ketchup with a weird twang taste. I like yellowbird and kimchee sriracha but this one’s always just kinda been a hipster fad thing to me. On the other hand if your tastebuds align and you like it get your sauce on my friends!
