Hello Darlings my name is Steven Davies and I’m the knob by the hob so for the next course actually removed my patch um we’re going to do Harissa potatoes and chicken so it’s a crispy Harissa potatoes and I’m also going to marinate the chicken in Harissa

As well and there’s going to be a side of a tomato uh an onion salad first of all I’ve just got normal boiling potatoes a bit new potatoes sorry new potatoes so I’m going to boil them first in some salted water then next I’m going to marinate the chicken I’m going to

Actually they’re quite big chicken breast these from the farm shop today went to Joe earlier on um and we got some lovely fresh fish as well for later cuz there’s a fish manga there on a Tuesday I’m going to use you can make your own herisa paste it’s not

That difficult but I’m not going to do that so I’m literally smear on some of this paste it’s quite versatile it’s quite good little thing to have liven up any meal then I’m also going to put some chilies with it not I’m not don’t like things too spicy so

We’re just going to put some chop up a a red chili cuz when I come to cook them then I’ll cook these in a skillet with the chilies as well and some lemon a little bit of parsley and some crushed garlic and then just leave that to marinate

Just for like you know 20 minutes 30 minutes while the potatoes are cooking I’m just going to do a I said a tomato and salad to go with this but I’ve done this before been down in Wales the last week cuz my father had a nasty fall and

Without him it’ll be a bit Freer to do a bit more traveling cuz Adam’s always itching to travel and may is his dog so it’ll be his responsibility to sort out the arrangements good luck May so these crushed Teresa potatoes again not great for me because it’s got vinegar in it but I’ve marinated the onions in um some cherry vinegar I’m going to put the Harissa potatoes on a bed of uh Greek yogurt um but I’m going to mix the Greek yogurt

With some lemon and garlic so some generous amount of Greek yogurt and then squeeze in say half a lemon or you can put lime or you can grate a little bit of lime zest bit crushed garlic I like it quite garlicky as you can see just let that kind of marinate in a

Little tiny bit of garlicky salt in it and that then I’ll put the when we crush the potatoes I’ll put that on then I’m going to mix the potatoes all I’m going to do for that is again some of this Harissa dressing and some some olive oil and that’s

It and then I’ll toss the potatoes in that I’ll crush them first um toss them in that put them in the grill under the grill to crisp them up a little bit and then I’ll there’ll be a bed of the yogurt and I’ll put the potatoes on top

Of that okay so the potatoes are boiled so what I’m going to do is strain them I’m going to put them onto an oven poo dish crush them with a heavy bottomed crystal glass and then I’m going to mix them up in the Harissa dressing then put

Them under the uh Grill to crisp up a little bit yes they have to be crushed by Crystal it doesn’t taste the same if it’s not Crystal preferably polish Crystal my favorite type So probably enough for now and crush them crushed in Crystal there you go then drizzle the h a dress in over it then I’ll drizzle it again a little bit of olive oil and and little sprinkle and garlicky salt and then I’ll mix those up a bit a little bit more

Oil and then I’ll put them under the grill so I’m going to put the the chicken on the griddle So this is the base the yogurt base that the potatoes are going to go on the top of got open So I’ve just um sliced those up on The Griddle just to uh make them cook a little bit quicker and also for um ease of serving then what I’m going to do is I I’ve put the Greek yogurt on a plate I’m going to put the potatoes on top of

That and then going to put the chicken on top of the potatoes but before I serve the chicken put a little tiny bit of the uh sweet chili sauce just a little bit not too Much then a little bit of the Onions then some of the chicken around the edge and that’s a great serving platter then to put in the middle of the table and everybody helps themselves this is a great sharing plate this is Harissa potatoes and chicken on a bed of Greek yogurt with garlic and

Lemon and finished off with some onions that have been marinated in Cherry vinegar and some fla leaf parsley Oh
