Here are 19 ways to use bisquick for delicious and easy cooking i’ve got to start what the box was intended for originally biscuits what i didn’t really realize is how perfect these biscuits cook up they’re fluffy they’re light and they’re drop biscuits which makes them easier than the kind

You have to roll and cut but don’t stop there you can take the typical biscuit recipe that’s on the box and add in whatever you want these are copycat red lobster biscuits with a cheesy herby center number two and three equally as obvious waffles and pancakes i mean obviously and they’re super easy

To make i don’t know why i don’t do this more often i mean they’re perfect and if that’s not fancy enough for you you can turn this into crepes as well all you’re doing here is making this exactly as you would pancakes you’re using half the amount of bisquick so

That the batter is nice and thin just what you want for a crepe perfect little crate ready to be filled with whatever your heart desires four down 15 to go i’m going to share with you a few more baked goods before i get into the real surprise uses of this quick

So my fifth use is for cakes check out this coffee cake this is exactly like what my mom used to make and i bet she made it from a box of bisquick and i never knew six is for scones y’all i never would have thought i could just

Whip up some scones when my friends are coming over for hot tea okay that would never happen these are chocolate chip scones that are amazing cookies are up next y’all there are so many great and easy cookie recipes i came across this one they’re amazing just starts with peanut butter and a can

Of sweetened condensed milk when recipes have around five ingredients it just makes things easier once your dough is made you roll them into balls roll the ball into sugar bake them and stick a hershey kiss in it y’all these are amazing now for some savory surprise uses with bisquick

Today i made the hash brown breakfast casserole you all know all these casseroles that you make during the holidays that you soak overnight with bread well the bread in this casserole is bisquick no cubing bread or toasting bread before you put it in it goes in it sits overnight and then

It’s ready for the oven looks perfect and i actually love the fact that you don’t see big chunks of bread in there next up pot pie toppers any kind of savory pie that you want a top crust on whip up this little batter and pour it right on top

And let it go and if you keep this on hand this is easier and cheaper than buying a pie crust ready for the oven you gotta admit there’s nothing that much more comforting than homemade chicken pot pie and when it’s this easy you can whip this up on weeknights all winter long

Most people know this trick sausage balls it’s three ingredients to the most perfect party appetizer ever did you know you can use bisquick to make pizza crust the two ingredients bisquick and boiling water how easy is that you just stir it together until a soft dough forms now listen up don’t be expecting

The perfect pizzeria pie crust okay this is the kind of pie crust you make in a pinch all right you can divide this dough into four pieces or make one or two larger pieces i make a little lip around it so the sauce doesn’t roll off the edges

This is a great starter recipe for kids that love to cook i hate to admit it but i think i’m going to like this huh it makes a legitimate crust this is lunchroom pizza right here tastes just like that would definitely suffice for a quick weeknight dinner and definitely something your kids would

Love let’s interrupt the seriousness for the next fun use for bisquick deep fried fair foods this is the perfect way to get those deep fried oreos even if you can’t be there it’s a simple batter with just bisquick eggs milk and oil just mix it up dip your

Favorite fair food of choice in and let it fry these were so easy i might actually consider doing this okay here it goes oh man it’s like a beignet meets a donut meets an oreo all together the holidays are right around the corner and this next use for bisquick

Is going to be perfect pie crust just mix softened butter with the bisquick and add some boiling water huh it’s coming together just form the dough into the pan and it’s ready for your favorite pie recipe bisquick makes the best cobbler too a little bisquick some nutmeg and milk that’s the base for

Your cobbler all right we pour our cobbler mix at the bottom stir in some butter and then we pour whatever your cobbler filling is today it’s peaches and blueberries i just followed the instructions but i’m hoping for the best i’m pleasantly surprised at how perfectly this cobbler turned out no cobbler is complete

Without a scoop of vanilla ice cream perfect cinnamon rolls are the next trick up my sleeve these definitely beat what comes in a can these taste just like homemade they’re absolutely delicious a southern treat is the next trick for bisquick dumplings it’s two ingredients bisquick and milk

This will make a loose dough and then you just drop the dumplings into whatever you’ve got cooking and again these are easier than having to roll and cut you can’t tell me that just doesn’t look like pillowy goodness i don’t know about you but i never would have thought to use bisquick

To make gravy all you do is sprinkle some bisquick into your drippings and fat i don’t know why i didn’t think of this before then just stir in your cooking liquid for me it’s chicken broth delicious velvety gravy i feel like some of you will definitely be using this trick this holiday season

I have no idea what number we’re on my next trick is using bisquick for breading i’ve got seasoned bisquick with some parmesan cheese and i’m just going to dip my coated chicken tenders right in the mixture you can drizzle these with butter and bake them in the oven

Or quickly pan fry them this makes a beautiful coating for fried food and it’s not limited to just chicken you can use this for fried okra zucchini tomatoes you name it and for our final trick bisquick makes delicious crescent rolls in goes bisquick a little bit of mustard

Because i’m wrapping these in sausages and a little milk i’m gonna use a dough hook for 30 seconds now you could leave these just as crescent rolls or you can do my family’s favorite pigs in a blanket okay i’ve got my dough circle-ish and then just cut triangles

I mean who doesn’t love a good pig in a blanket that’s good it does have more of a homemade consistency than the ones i buy on a weekly basis out of the can so i’m thinking box of bisquick on hand the possibilities are endless so there

You have it 19 great uses for a box of bisquick happy baking go for it oh man that is good

  1. I forgot I “liked” this video awhile ago, although it’s a very good video … I was confused for instance w/ the long peach/blueberry cobbler partv & if time was an issue, why the vanilla ice cream 🤔 I mention that.. b/c of the odd steam roll she performed by saying .. your family will love cinnamon rolls & that was it?? And just moved onto dumpling’s or something!? If it was to save time ya could’ve trimmed the fat on some of the unnecessaries. Quick cinnamon rolls would be a definite important recipe.

  2. My mom used to make coffee cake And Strawberry Shortcake from this quick she would have that whip together in no time flat

  3. This was GREAT!! Been using Bisquick for years and haven't made all these things. Thanks for sharing! ❤

  4. I make an easy hash brown casserole by mixing a bag of cubed hash brown potatoes, can of mushroom soup, one onion and 1 cup of grated sharp cheddar cheese. Top with crushed corn flakes tossed in melted butter… bake until browns are soft.

  5. I gained 20#, it was due this cinnamon coffee cake!! I made it at least once, if not twice a week. It's THAT GOOD! 😂

  6. I've always known Bisquick is an all purpose mix to make many things. This has given me some new ideas to make Pizza Dough, Cinnamon Rolls, Pot Pies and other items too. What is really important to me is I can scale it down for a single guy living alone now. Thanks for this video.

  7. Grandma here from Pennsylvania. Fed my family well with My home made Bisquick mix Blessings John 3:16 🎚🙏🇮🇱🇺🇸
