I found a minimalistic little restaurant near Tokyo in Japan that sold bonito fish and bonito flakes that were home made and tasted amazing. They used a weird ancient cooking style of slightly grilling the fish over rice straws which made it taste excellent. If you are ever in Japan definitely try this restaurant, it is called Nikkomaru Shokudo! Especially if you are a friend of sushi and sashimi.
