INGREDIENTS:
For the Lobster
6 lobster tails
1 cup flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons hot paprika
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons black pepper
2 teaspoons onion powder
1 tablespoon kosher salt
¾ cup buttermilk
1 egg
2-3 dashes hot sauce
Vegetable oil, for frying

For the Ranch
¼ cup buttermilk
¼ cup sour cream
¼ cup mayonnaise
2 garlic cloves
1 tablespoon chopped dill
1 tablespoon chopped chives
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
Kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

Box Mac n’ Cheese

COOKING METHOD:
1. Remove the lobster from their shells using kitchen scissors, then cut the tails into quarters.
2. In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together buttermilk, egg, and hot sauce.
3. In a large mixing bowl, add flour, cornstarch, spices and salt. Whisk together well to combine.
4. In a large, heavy-bottomed pot over medium heat, add 1 ½ inches of vegetable oil and bring to 350°F.
5. Dip each lobster nugget into the wet mixture, then into the dry mixture. Shake off any excess, then add to the oil. Add 6-8 lobster nuggets and fry until golden brown, then remove with a spider and transfer to a paper towel lined sheet tray.

For the Ranch
Add all ingredients to a small mixing bowl and whisk together until fully incorporated.

Then what I’m gonna do is take this and cut it, and now we got beautiful lobster meats. Boom. Boom. I don’t think your kids are gonna like these, but maybe. But this is the thing. Everyone wins ’cause the kids can have the mac and cheese, we get the chicken fried lobsters, right?

Yeah, that’s what I said. Shut up. So, everybody wins on this one. I’m gonna do a little bit of a cleanup, because I’m all lobstered up. We’re gonna keep working on this, but I’m just gonna do a quick little, it’s disgusting. Hey everybody, how you doing? Okay, now what we’re gonna do

Is we’re gonna whisk up two eggies, that’s whisked. Then we’re gonna add some hot sauce, seems like a lot. Then we’re gonna add some buttermilk, and then we’re gonna take our lobster and put it in. I would say at least, it’d be nice to put it for like two hours into the fridge.

That’s all I’m saying. I wouldn’t let the lobster sit in this like, that long to be honest, it’s not chicken. I feel it’ll start breaking down a lot, being in the buttermilk and with the hot sauce. And now, I’ve gotta show you how to make the dry dredge. Follow along. We need some flour. We got corn starch, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, cayenne, lots of fresh cracked pepper. Mix this up and just mix it. I could have probably used a fork or a whisk. I’m using a spoon, which isn’t really the move. So just take your time, mix it around. Probably spend about 30 minutes doing this. I wanna do a show where I just give actually all the wrong instructions. Why don’t you make some mac and cheese? Shut up, I’m doing what I want. It’s three easy steps: boil water, Add pasta, thanks. Six to eight minutes, depending on your latitude. The higher you go up, water takes longer to boil, but once it’s boiling, it’s the same. Is they’re not gonna take long to cook. Like, these little pieces are gonna take like four minutes. And as we fry, we’re gonna be frying about 365. I’m kind of beating them up a little bit, too. That just makes like little nooks and crannies and little yummies,

But they look like little chicken thighs, don’t they? Yes, I agree. Gonna add just a couple pieces in, okay. This is what’s up. I think the kids are gonna love these, actually. Hopefully they don’t though, so then we get to eat ’em all. Should I pull the mac and cheese out?

A quick, quick, quick, quick ranch. We got dill, parsley, chives. Easy. I don’t need too much. I’m making just a little dipper. Kitchen stick, the kitchen stick can do anything. Raw garlic, am I bleeding? That was because I had a blister, ’cause I burned my hand the other day.

Add your mayo, sour cream, little bit of buttermilk, red wine vinegar, mix it up. Little bit of salt, fresh cracked pep, let’s check our nuggies. Oh yeah, look at those. What did I tell you? Look at these! We got Matheson food company, original mac and cheese.

We got lobster fried chicken, little crunchy nuggies. Look, we got our ranchies. Ranch, where’s that hot sauce? Gimme that Crystal. And then what I like to do is take my hot sauce and just kind of put it on top of my ranch, and make like a little dippies.

I don’t know if this is the best version of lobster mac and cheese. Let me tell you: it’s the (censored) best. This is very, I’m very proud of this. A little ranch, a little hot sauce, a little dippy on our lobster. I love you guys so much

That I get to do stuff like this, like, this is crazy. And that lobster tails, I’m not even mad at that. They’re actually like, they’re not stringy. They’re kind of not trash. They’re not chewy. Mm, man, (indistinct). I can’t eat anymore. Yeah! It’s really good. I’m very impressed with myself.

  2. I always see KD on sale here.. its shit food for to much. I buy KD maybe once every 2 years. Unless yours is from real cheese, fresh in the box, etc. you wont do good on this product. I think you need to look into this stuff more. Your "Matheson Food Company" is in a huge space and I really hope your products are top quality, cheap, last long, taste delicious, and are cheap enough to go against the other competition. I doubt it is, but well see.
