Hello, I am Shehnaz. We are going through a frightening period in March when the temperature is high. Even though experts say that the coming periods will bring drought… Thank God we have a merciful Creator and I trust him. Precaution is ours, God’s discretion. I will make Ramadan pita for sahur.

We are careful not to consume bread at iftar. For pre-fermentation, I left 1 glass of flour, 1 packet of yeast (10 g), 1 glass of warm water (200ml) for 10 minutes. This process eliminates the smell of yeast in bread and is the healthiest fermentation method.

Now I’m moving on to making the pita. Our ingredients are 1 glass of warm water, 3 glasses of flour and 1 teaspoon of salt. The dough should be sticky to your hands and you can collect the dough by wetting your hands from time to time. If I ask, how is your Ramadan going?

Sleeping until sahur and waking up at sahur is very good for the body. The body perceives it as breakfast. Even though they say it is necessary to eat light food and drink plenty of water, I cannot manage to drink plenty of water.

The break between iftar and sahur is very short and I can only drink 3 glasses of water 🙂 When I was a child, we had Albanian neighbors. They came and settled during the war. They had very nice neighbors. When I went to their house, their abundant conversations and devotion impressed me greatly.

When I entered their house from the outer doors, there were 4 doors opening to rooms around the large courtyard. I remember the couches in the courtyard, the hand-woven carpet on the ground and the reflection of the sun on that carpet. They used to get their daily milk from their cows.

Daily eggs came from the chickens running around in the garden. I will cover and ferment the pitas on the tray for another 10 minutes. Near iftar time, neighbors would engage in deep conversation under the street lamp.

Of course, the topic was the food cooked at home, the way of cooking the food, its taste, and then the time for iftar was approaching. I will prepare the sauce to spread on bread. 1 egg yolk, 1 tablespoon of flour and some water.

Let me tidy up the dough while it ferments for another 10 minutes. We would sit on the wall of the mosque, which had a garden full of roses, and wait with excitement for the iftar ball to be thrown. The breeze of the wind, the hum of the poplar trees in the mosque garden.

Longing is hidden in the emotions it makes you feel rather than in the memories. I wish every child could experience and taste these. The bread goes to the oven. The pitas turned out great and there is no yeast smell at all 🙂

I covered it with a wet cloth and let the pitas soak. The texture test is great, the result is soft. The weather is very nice but it is cool in the shade, I wanted to let the shipboy freshen up. A female cat, the site’s mascot, followed us 🙂

Shipboy got a little uneasy when he saw her. I’m also quite nervous and I don’t want to take any risks, I’d better lock the lock. If he runs away, I can’t catch him.

Shipboy is a member of our home and I want him to be happy. I want all living beings to be happy. Silent servants of God. On the contrary, I think that animals were created to educate people. I shopped and when the weather is nice I feel energized.

I knitted a so-called shopping net 🙂 Unfortunately, we still have to use plastic bags in markets. The taste of tomatoes spoils quickly in the refrigerator, so I buy a small amount and put them on the counter. Since I ran out of yoghurt, I bought milk from dairy. Don’t let our wooden handle burn.

A week before the holiday, my father would buy candied almonds and chocolate for the guests. Before the Eid, we would eat it with the crowded household and my father would go and buy it again 🙂

My mother; When my father said “I ran out of sugar, Mr. Nefi”; He would say, “Let the children eat it, I’ll buy it again.” The father is always an irreplaceable hero in the lives of children. When I first met my husband, I was very impressed by his compassion and good upbringing.

The emotion that best suits a human being is compassion. May the Creator grant us to be people who have a high sense of compassion and look at every living thing with mercy. Iftar includes roasted liver with vegetables, lentil soup and salad.

Everything that is done, experienced and kept alive comes back to us one day. We need to be careful about what we experience and what we let happen. The hadith of our Prophet “Woe to those who instill hope in someone and then abandon their hope…

Woe to those who make promises and do not keep their promises” has always impressed me. He checked the milk with his little finger, and as soon as I felt the slight heat, I fermented the yoghurt. After the 4-hour fermentation period, it is enough to leave it open in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

When my wife wanted liver, I sent her to buy liver at the last minute and waited for her for a while. I kept the livers in a strainer for a while to drain any blood. I will fry the livers in olive oil and add the vegetables.

When winter preparations began, my mother would gather us all around her. The garlic is cleaned, the peppers and tomatoes are chopped for the pickle fillings. Stuffed peppers and eggplants were strung on strings and preparations would last for weeks. My mother used to make delicious eggplant pickles.

First, he would lightly boil it in salt water, put stones on it to drain the water, and leave it for one night. My sister did it when I wanted, but unfortunately it doesn’t work the way your mother does.

My father used to string the finger grapes from our vineyard on bushes for the winter. My mother would salt the cheeses one by one with rock salt and put them in large cubes. Because those cheeses were friends of grapes and indispensable for breakfast. As one remembers the past, one feels clear.

I always tell young people to spend your youth cleanly and productively. Read, educate yourself, but most importantly, know your purpose of creation. Everyone matures through mistakes, we cannot achieve the virtue of being human without making mistakes. The job is to learn from those mistakes and not repeat them.

Don’t hurt yourself by worrying about why you did this. Know that you are not a perfect person and those mistakes help you mature. Value yourself, remember that you are the work of the Creator. I will put the soup in the blender. I will prepare a sauce using butter, mint and thyme spices.

Just melt the butter, do not burn the butter because it is very dangerous. I’m sure you all know this. It was a humble reminder. Sumac spiced onion salad goes well with liver 🙂 Every penny you earn with your own labor and effort is very valuable.

It contains difficulties, struggle and the taste of halal winning. These days, when I hear frequent cases of fraud, extortion and theft, I wish they only knew…

If only they knew their Creator, if they knew what is halal and what is haram, if they knew that what belongs to someone else will not bring any good… Let’s pray for them too. May God reveal himself and the truth. Iftar time is approaching. I’m preparing the table.

Do not forget your prayers and valuable comments. Man’s prayer for man reaches the Creator quickly. May your Ramadan bring abundance and abundance. May God grant healing to the sick and relief to those in distress. May our fasts be accepted. Thank you for being a guest in my home.
