  1. I’m gonna give Gordon a pass on this one because he’s british…they ruin every dish.

  2. After watching gordon ramsay's carbonara video i started to believe that im a michelin star chef 😂 because gordon fucked up with carbonara

Real idiot sandwich = gordon ramsay

  3. Lmfao. He added creme fraiche so the mixture wouldn't get dry? That's literally what pasta water is for. Why is he trying to reinvent the wheel and inflate the price of a simple dish?

  4. Ive cooked it like Vincenzo its the best got me extra guanciale from italy! Best choice of how you make Carbonara. You dont need cream or garlic 😂

  5. "Famously, they do it without adding cream, so I am going to add cream anyway, except it's going to be sour and I'm going to use a french word for it"

  6. If he's going to make a new dish, then fine… But don't go around calling this new dish a classic name that his own recipe strongly diverges from! It reminds me more of something Jamie Oliver would do. 😆

  7. While cream seems almost somewhat natural to think of when making pasta, peas add absolutely nothing. I’ve been to “authentic” “trattoria” “bistros” and it’s always still peas in it ffs…

  8. Can you believe my grocery store FINALLY!!!!! has guanciale?! I was SO happy when I saw it the other day! So obviously I got it and will be making carbonara tomorrow 😁😁😁
I'm in kind of a rural part of the netherlands, (friesland for those interested) loads of "foreign" things take a while to be implemented here, no matter how popular they are in the rest of the world 😅
