I would put the workbench in the garage or basement and get something nice for the kitchen. Your kitchen is beautiful. That bench with the rivets is out of place, IMHO.

  3. With all due respect, that workbench does NOT belong in your kitchen. I’d go to Ikea ASAP and buy a matching cupboard or stand-alone unit — and a bouquet of flowers for the wife to make up for desecrating her workspace!

Nice set-up man! I actually like the work bench but would stain the wood to match the shelves above it.

  5. I love industrial design but that bench is not for that place. If you lived in a loft with concrete walls sure but not here.

  6. I would get rid of the gaggia and the two grinders and combine the budget to get something else.

  7. Why do you have two espresso machines and 3 grinders in your kitchen? 😀

I love the workbench. Really sets the tone for the “I can’t stop this addiction, I’m too far in” attitude lol 😂😂

You just need a lathe and a table saw to tie in to the kitchen’s new vibe.
