The recipes that we actually make uh in Italy on on Easter time so uh today we will be making what we call Tora pascalina which is um Easter pie so it’s very simple to make you can use a pie crust but I wanted to make it simple for

You guys if you are not comfortable with making pie crust so um we are using today puff pastry you can buy a frozen one make sure that you T in the refrigerator and good to go get a rolling pin and make the feeling and you are going to end up

With an amazing pie okay let’s get started so for the feeling as I said we are going to use puff pastry today uh the recipe is in the description box below there is a link that will take you to the website and you can download uh

The recipe from there we will be making Tora pasqualina if you just connected is an Italian Easter pie we are focusing every Wednesday on uh Italian bacing so you welcome to join every Wednesday and let’s get started so I have my uh boiled spinach just for 5 minutes not too much

You don’t want to end up with the p rotta cheeses again we are using parmesan I’m using parmesan cheese and picino cheese you can use only parmesan if you want make sure that is parmesano regano Parmesan it’s a little bit too generic most of the time

Height so that you can get a perfect size there you go and now so far this is you want to cut around the bottom I just go half of a hinch over so that we really have enough and I’m going to show you something else how can you use one sheet

Rosa okay and now on top of those two eggs just a little bit of pepper I said a little bit not a lot there is enough pepper okay perfect got hise add a little bit of Salt and now it’s time to top it with our other layer this one right on top you can lightly stretch it that’s okay and then we are going to we’re going to fold it lightly stretch it if you feel like it’s too short and then you fold

It the way you like it doesn’t have to be precise don’t worry guys have fun when you make this kind of stuff it’s something that you can totally make with your kids actually and um yeah do you like it yes no you can send likes and the last thing to do now

Is clean up a little bit egg wash egg wash is nothing but one egg all egg beaten lightly with the fork it makes it easier and you can add a little bit of water you can add a little bit of milk you can add cream uh just a

Little bit don’t go too crazy if you don’t like to use eggs totally fine you can use cream you can use milk uh they have enough protein to allow the top to become to look golden brown it’s just for for some coloring right so don’t worry about it you can also use cream

Only actually 35% cream or meal don’t worry anything as long as you basically brush something on it one other thing that I was thinking today is that I wish I had some sesame seeds um once you brush the top with some egg wash you can also add

Some sesame seeds maybe I think that will look nice the only thing that you want to do on top of that is just to cut a little bit on top of just a little bit not too much know that the spinach is here and the spinach is also here that’s

It and you do some and you cut a little bit vertical horizontal and vertical just to resemble across okay I’m glad glad you like it so beautiful super cute now you bake this beauty at if you’re making a small one I will say 30 minutes 35 30 35 minutes if

You’re making a bigger one around 45 minutes and the temperature is 400° fah or 200 so 390 400° F or 200° 200° C and now I have it baked it for you and I’m going to cut it so that I can show you how it looks like I hope that was baked
