    This was 1/2 a yellow onion, 8 tomatillos, 4 serranos, and 3 garlic cloves.  Roast it all about 15 minutes with the oven broiler (garlic half that time so it doesn’t burn), and let cool to room temp.  Add a handful of cilantro, about 1tsp of table salt and about 1/2 tsp of msg then blend it up.  

    The msg really adds to the overall flavor and helps it from feeling like it is lacking something.
