1/2 cup dijon mustard

  1. seems to me is way too much sweet in that sauce I mean great for a sauce you want to caremelise and get a real nice glaze otherwise seems seriously sickly sweet.
My honey mustard is way easier takes 1 minute to make, longer if you make some of them.
Dijon mustard, garlic aioli (or plain mayo if dont like garlic) and ofcourse honey, throw in some salt and pepper. Much easier to control to your taste than putting in it all first. Worst thing that will happen is a giant bowl of sauce that is delicious.

  2. No original honey ever get in a solid form so it is not a original honey, which is not even healthy, please crash this receipy. Sorry

  3. I'll be making this in 12 hours with fresh squeezed apple juice, that way I don't have to run to the grocery store! Thank you for this simple recipe!

  4. Just got done making this delicious glaze! I see why you cooked it outside, I should of known, but it's 1:30am and I don't want to go outside. I also added a pinch of paprika and turmeric! Just waiting for it to cool down at the moment!!

  5. Hey Jamie glaze looks awesome. Are you using raw honey? If so can you also use your typical golden brown Pure Honey?

  6. Thank you for sharing. I had been looking all over for a sweet honey mustard sauce or glaze that did not have mayo, to cook and reduce and thicken to my desired thickness. You came to the rescue! I just made it for lunch to go with popcorn chicken. I didn't have Dijon mustard, so I used yellow mustard. I did not have apple juice, so I used pineapple/mango juice; and I used white vinegar instead of apple cider. It was easy to make and it tasted good on the popcorn chicken. The pineapple mango juice gave it a "Tropical Honey Mustard" vibe, which I will make again; but next time I will use apple.

  7. I made this recipe except I used French's honey mustard Instead of Dijon mustard and I'll be damned if it isn't exactly what tim Hortons used to use on their turkey bacon clubs before they went and got rid of honey mustard off their menu all together, scoundrels!!! So thank you a million!!!!
