Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.
1 unbaked 9-inch deep-dish pie shell
3/4 cup sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 large eggs
1 can (15 oz.) Libby’s100% Pure Pumpkin
1 can (12 fl. oz,) Carnation Evaporated Milk
1. Whisk together sugar, salt, cinnamon, ginger and cloves in small bowl. Beat eggs in large bowl. Whisk in pumpkin and sugar-spice mixture. Gradually whisk in evaporated milk.
2. Place prepare unbaked pie crust on pizza or cookie pan. Slowly pour pumpkin mixture into pie shell.
3. Bake in preheated 425 degree oven for 15 minutes. Reduce temperature to 350 degrees F.; bake 50 minutes or until knife or toothpick insert near center come out clean. Cool on wire rack for 2 hours. Serve immediately or refrigerate.
Makes 8 servings

Your recipe says 1/2 teaspoon of ground cloves but you said in the video 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg ? I'm confused. Please if you can help me. I'm trying to make a pumpkin pie for thanksgiving.

I made this pie and it cracked. And afterwards when I cut it it sort of broke. And I couldn't remove it from the pan. When I tried to remove it, it broke. And I doubled this recipe so I wasted 2 lies.(oh and I also haut use pumpkin pie spice)

You said bake for 50-55 min. It is supposed to be 45-50 minutes.
Looks great ! We don't really make pumpkin pie in Australia 🇦🇺 here.. no thanksgiving here.. but we have loads of fresh pumpkins that we can use for cooking of course . So I'll make this tomorrow 👍 ( with home cooked fresh pumpkin purée and maybe Stevia instead of sugar ) or half brown sugar ?y
