Just be careful! Halloumi doesn't really melt so in a grilled cheese it will be solid thing – no cheese pull. I never tried to grate halloumi before tho so idk how nice it will be. My fave way to eat is grilled with honey on top!

It's great grilled on a charcoal barbeque. You get that nice smokey flavour added to it.
We have a local producer here in Yorkshire, England but "Halloumi" is a protected Cyprus trademark so they literally call it "Squeaky Cheese"

We brush little bit of oil on ours and sprinkle little paprika, chilli powder, jerk seasoning whatever have to hand.
Have amazing recipe if you like sweet potatoes and feta cheese too.
