1 stick unsalted butter (½ cup)
¾ cup sugar
2 eggs (one for dough & one for egg wash)
½ tsp. vanilla
½ cup milk
¼ cup vegetable oil (avocado oil)
3 ½ cups flour
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
⅛ tsp. salt
1 ½ tsp. mahleb
1 tbsp. black caraway or nigella seeds
sesame seeds for topping
