Next time try " The Reuben House "off of east 8 mile and one the best was "Esquires" on Dexter, where the Y.B.I. used to hangout but it's closed down now.
i remember going to Mumford high school going to Lous on 6mile getting that sandwich also donalds duck sandwich, yellow cake, and maybe the roselawn. (names of sandwiches) lous deli menu look it up. after moving to utah in 1985, i make lous at home for fam and friends we love it, grew up on 7 mile and livernois 7 mile players 1977
The best sandwich is off 7 mile and Wyoming between Curtis it was a pink store before owned by some ladies and now someone else took over and use the same corned beef !!! The best hands down right before Mumford !!!

I was shocked to see robs on here not talking down its one my favorites just you gotta know about it cause it's not a well know accept on the Eastside so kudos to you chime for finding it. Bread basket you probably went to one in the city cause the one on Plymouth and middlebelt trash and lous my number one the one on 9 mile&greenfield
