Hi, we've had some mould growing on our Q2200. So took it out to clean today and while scraping it with a plastic scraper, it's taking the cookbox back to a bare silver metal. Just wondering if this is normal? My girlfriend thinks that when she bought it 9 years ago that the inside of the cookbox was black, and that we've been scraping off the porcelain finish from the inside.

Light it up maximum power with the grates in too, For about 30min. Clean if needed once it cooled down.
