Ingredients:
• Sugar 1/2 cup
• Egg 1
• Oil 1/2 cup
• Yougrt 1/2 cup
• Shredded Coconut 1/2 cup
• Semolina 1/2 cup
• All purpose flour 1/2 cup
• Baking powder 1/2 tsp
Sugar syrup:
• Water 1 cup
• Sugar 2 cup
• Lemon juice 1 tsp
Garnish:
• Pistachios chopped or any other nuts of choice.

Method:
1. Combine egg ,sugar , oil and yogurt together.
2. Then add dry ingredients and mix it well.
3. Grease baking dish with oil or butter, pour in the batter.
4. Bake in preheated oven on 180°C for 20 mins to 25 mins until golden on top.
5. For syrup: dissolve sugar in water, cook until form ribbon consistency. Add lemon juice. And syrup is ready.
6. Pour the syrup on top of basbousa, once it came out of the oven. Let it set for 5 mins to 10 mins.
7. Garnish it with Pistachios or any choice of nuts.
