We know quality steak comes in all shapes and size but do you have a steak that isn't amazing but good enough to eat on repeat when you want to?

I like Dave & Buster's 14 OZ sirloin a lot actually. Many people would scoff at this but I figured I wasn't alone on these thoughts.

I get it rare everytime.

The Waffle House jawn fire. And I pray that ketchup didn’t touch the steak

So awesome! But why no money shot? Was it pink inside?

Compared to a classic NYC steakhouse which I can’t afford all the time, TRH is my great steak for less place. I mean you add those rolls and it’s always a guilty pleasure

Local chain breakfast spot. I get steak n eggs. So long it’s cooked rare it’s pretty good. I think it’s a 8oz sirloin

    Pichana at Texas de Brazil

Churrasco from La Patagonia in Camden

  6. I’ve found Texas Roadhouse to have a decent price/quality ratio

There was this Latin restaurant that has since closed that had “Bistec A La Criolla” on the menu and it’s the best steak I ever had then and since.

It wasn’t even an expensive cut, but something about whatever they marinated it with and grilling was just divine

Carne asada entree from my local Mexican spot. Comes out on a sizzling plate.

Order it medium and it ends up well done. But the marinade is spot on and every bite with a little rice and beans or rolled up in a tortilla is perfect.

  10. Blue cheese filet from The Keg. The topping is a wonderful mixture of blue cheese, bread crumbs, butter, and whole garlic cloves. Delicious

Any thing from the roadhouse, in fact I’m about to go get dinner there wonder what I’ll get.

  12. Salisbury steak at Furr’s with mushrooms and brown gravy

As long as it’s cooked correctly and tender, I’m happy. That’s the biggest hurdle I’m having with steakhouses lately and it’s appalling.

I always get the “t-bone” and eggs at Waffle House. She ain’t pretty, but I like her.

Prices at d+b are actually pretty good for what you get. Especially with the game card deals. Quality is higher than you’ll get anywhere else for the price imo

New York regular cut, from Texas Roadhouse.

Live for New Year’s Eve. Sloppy steaks at Truffoni’s. Big rare cut of meat with water dumped all over it, water splashing around the table, makes the night SO MUCH more fun.

  18. The 16 oz Extra Large Prime Rib from Sayler’s Old Country Kitchen in Portland OR. It’s really good.

My Grandfather took my Father there when he was a child, my dad took me there a few times, and I have taken my own kids many times. It is literally a Portland Tradition.

They have been featured on Man Vs. Food with their 60 minute, 72oz Steak Challenge. Eat the entire steak, and all the trimmings and the meal is free.

I enjoyed the steak I got from Michael Jordan’s steakhouse here in Chicago. Kind of pricey though.

    Denny’s T-Bone and Eggs.

    It’s terrible for 4PM but it’s excellent at 4AM.

    J. Alexander’s steak Maui is pricey as hell but a different take on ribeye.

Here in my city there’s a place called Al’s Steakhouse. They’re the only place in the city that cooks over a wood fire. They always come out with a beautiful crust at the doneness you ask for. Even Blue.

Staff are great and food is delicious. If I had more budget I’d eat there more often.

Cattlemen’s here in California. Is it great steak? No. Is it great for the price in California? Hell yeah.

Did Dennis Reynolds write this post? Because if you’re looking for a better steak in an arcade setting, you are shit out of luck, pal.

My guilty pleasure is getting the whole steak in one photo

Longhorns bone in rib-eye is delicious and I’m seeing a lot of Roadhouse responses here. In my area you’re more likely to have the steak cooked properly at the longhorn and they’re a half mile from each other. Also a hack as a former employee, you can ask for any of the steaks there flame grilled instead of the flat top. And if you’re feeling like a fatty throw on a bleu chz crust and a skewer of red rock shrimp

Master Steaks, Dixie Rd in Mississauga Ontario. No fuss, no muss. Just straight up steak and potatoes, cooked to your liking 🤘

Know this is a steak sub and this is different but… the ahi sashimi from Yard House.

So random but actually very good

  33. I did at one time, but they closed. The prime rib at Pals Cabin, West Orange, NJ. Haven’t really latched on to a specific one since.

I miss picanha from Brazil. It totally does not taste the same as the ones in brazilian steakhouses in the US.

There’s a fondue place in Livermore, CA called Simply Fondue. I get the 6 pepper beef every time, it is so good!

$12 sirloin with baked potato at Turf Club in San Diego. Only catch is you have to grill it yourself. But it’s delicious

Can’t do restaurants anymore after learning from this sub

Dive bar near my house has a 12oz ribeye with potato, veggie and Texas toast for $15 and it’s cooked med rare to med when I order med rare every time. Usually closer to 13-14oz with my eyeball scale. It’s a go to lunch date often
