  4. I make mine exactly like this except I boil the potatoes in salted vinegar water. It adds a nice dimension of f flavor. Or, as AB says “I level it up!” Thanks AB.

  5. I use both sweet and dill pickles. But, i only use the baby size, they're more crunchier than the large pickles. 😉

  11. We call it oriental salad over here. Throw some more pickles and some black olives on that. The black olives really make it.

  12. Never liked sweet pickles and can always taste when someone uses sweet pickles in these dishes. Love only dill pickles. Same for mayonnaise. If they use that Miracle Whip salad dressing I can really taste it as it's so sweet compared to mayonnaise.

  13. I wouldn't add anything else to that. It looks perfect that way it is. It just got added to my meal plan for next week!

  14. That looks lip-smackin' good. I do add dill to my salads because it really brings up the flavor, especially if you add relish which sometimes overpowers the flavor of the potato.

  16. Here in North Carolina we call that southern style potato salad been making all my life my mother and grandmother made it this way except we only use French style mustard

  19. Yes on Mayo, I buy at least 6 of the big 64 ounce jars from Costco between May and October. Potato salad, mac salad, shrimp salad, chicken salad, BLT's and more. Thank you Best Foods!

  20. I love me some potato salad. I am a dill pickle gal. I don't know if you think it's weird but I love my potato salad when it's freshly made & warm…when it cools it's ok…but cold, like from the fridge, is not my thing.

  22. Mostly how I make it here in PA, but no pickles and add a little vinegar and sugar to the mustard and mayo dressing. We also add bacon bits. Mmmm… Yours looks and sounds yummy!!
