Healthy Chicken Piccata

Recipe:
1 lemon
1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon ground pepper
1 tablespoon plus 4 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil, divided
1 large sweet onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 cup reduced sodium chicken broth
1/4 cup dry white wine
4 teaspoons drained capers
1/4 cup chopped parsley

welcome everybody today we’re going to
be making chicken picata originally made
by American Italian immigrants in the
1930s so for this recipe you’ll need
boneless skinless chicken breasts two
onions two
lemons garlic minced garlic allpurpose
flour chicken broth and

capers make sure to get a/4 cup of
allpurpose flour
and sprinkle that onto the chicken that
you’ve cut

once you see the the pot begin to
boil you can add about 1/4 cup of white
[Music]
wine once the wine is incorporated add
your chicken
broth about a cup for
[Music]
after adding the chicken broth add the
[Music]
Capers to ensure the cooking
process you should take your pieces of
chicken and shred them while cooking
them in the concoction SL sauce
