Every so often you come across a wine that just completely impresses. Thomas Pinot Noir is one of those wines. I’ve been lucky enough to get half a case per year for the last few vintages, so after taking a look in our cellar for a special wine for a birthday, decided to pull one of the 2018s.
Wasn’t really sure what to expect, but this wine was wow. In the glass this was a medium weight Pinot Noir. The aromas it as giving off were mushroom and red fruit, along with a healthy dose of tea.
After taking a sip this was tart, getting cranberry, raspberry, and that mushroom flavour, but it was silky. This was superb. I just kept saying wow, as I sipped this stunner. Add to that the story of one man doing basically everything start to finish and you have a very successful project that truly shows the passion of one individual. Unique. Standout. Incredible. Highly recommend.

These are special wines. Very cool – cheers!
Badass. I heard from u/interstellar_billy that joining his list is unique and old school, like you get in touch with him directly etc…love your evocative notes. I’m a huge fan of what the Willamette is capable of on the higher end (Kelley Fox, Antica Terra, Lingua Franca, Evening Land, Arterberry Maresh…) and I’ve always wanted to try this.
