Crafting a pizza Margherita allows you to experience the authentic flavors of Italy in the comfort of your own kitchen. All you need is some pizza dough, ripe tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, fragrant basil leaves, a drizzle of olive oil, and a sprinkle of salt. The combination of these high-quality ingredients creates a symphony of flavors that dance on your taste buds.

Homemade Pizza Margherita

The recipe Is for – 4 Pizza’s
Preparation time – 3 Hours

EQUIPMENT:
1 Knife
1 Cutting board
1 Big bowls
1 Messing cup
1 Pizza stone

INGREDIENTS:
For The Pizza Dough:
500 g 0.0 Flour
325 ml Lukewarm water
7 g Instant dry yeast
1 tsp Salt

Extra ingredients:
Tomato sauce
Parmesan
Mozzarella
Fresh basil
Olive oil

INSTRUCTIONS:
Start with making the pizza dough. Add in a big bowl the 0.0 flour together with salt. Give this a mix. In a measuring cup add the Lukewarm water and the instant dry yeast. Give this a mix till the yeast is completely mixed with the water. Add this to the flour with salt mixture. First stir it with the spoon and later with you hand in the bowl. Take the dough out of the bowl and on to the working space. Knead the dough and add some extra flour if needed. When you are done kneading add it on a little big of flour and cut the dough in 4 pieces. fold and roll the dough into a ball shape in the palm of your hand. Repeat this with all 4 pieces of dough. Add them to a tray to proof with a damp towel over them for 2 hours.

After 2 hours take a ball of dough and place it on some flour. Press it in the middle and start to press soft around the edges of the dough to make it into a circle shape. Turn it around. Make sure you use enough flour. Start to stretch the dough and turn it a quarter. Keep on repeating this till the dough is big enough.

Add the dough on a pizza stone and add tomato sauce to the dough together with a little bit of olive oil, parmesan cheese, mozzarella, fresh basil and top it of with a little bit more olive oil.
Preheat the oven at 220℃. When the oven is hot place the pizza in the oven for 8 minutes. Check if the crust is nice and crispy.
