Ordered some of these today for meal prep, we’re trying to stay away from plastic as much as possible and my boyfriend works in a metal shop and doesn’t feel comfortable using glass containers. I bought these with the intention of him being able to warm up his food, but it turns out that they’re only rated for 1000w or below microwaves. I wrongly assumed his work had one, turns out it’s 1200w. Not going to try microwaving them obviously in that one, but does anyone know why it can’t be used in higher watt ones?
I’d also like to see peoples personal experiences using these, and if you regret purchasing them or not. They’re quite a bit of money, and it seems like reviews are good, but maybe I can get some more insight here. I can’t seem to find people who talk about using microwaveable stainless steel boxes, you would think they’d be more popular. We started out with Tupperware containers, but sadly they would get weird stuff on them even after washing
