Whoops! I’ve been sprinkling sesame seeds on nearly all my meals for a week, forgetting that they’re literally all fat 🥲 +270 cals for a TBSP (I think the label is inaccurate, though)
On the other hand, it’s been delicious so if you need some added calories – consider grabbing some!

But it says the whole container is 4 servings and I doubt that there are only 4 tablespoons in there unless the container is MUCH smaller than it looks

Even if 1tbs is 15g (and I’d weigh this to make sure because my chef fu puts it at around half that) and even if it was pure fat at 9 calories a gram (which it isn’t because it has solid fibre and proteins as a nut) that’s only 135 calories anyway – double what the label says.
My feeling is that it would be closer to 5.5 cal/g being a nut or seed, so around 85 cals at 15g.
Google says 573 cals per 100g and 1tbsp is 9g. So 52 calories per tbsp. I say sprinkle away, but weigh 🙂

Also contains sesamin which boosts metabolism.
