    There are portable utensil sets that include chopsticks and a carrying case of some kind. Lots of options nowadays.

    Next time, you should reverse the knives so the dull end is the one you put to your mouth. You don’t wanna accidentally cut yourself even if it’s a cheap plastic knife.

    I forgot my utensils at home once and work doesn’t have any, so I used two of the thin wooden sticks they put out to stir coffee.

    Always carry a pair of throwaway to-go chopsticks in backpack or purse. You never know when you need them. I once saved someones’ errant earbud from underneath an airplane seat cushion when it got pushed in between the cushion and the flotation pack. It was way in where you couldn’t reach with fingers but chopsticks were a perfect solution.
