It’s got a big kink in the stem and growing double leaves at that spot. A decent section of the leaf steam is fully connected to the main steam but almost completely translucent. It didn’t see any major trauma, just gonna see if it keeps growing.

I have a pepper plant that does something very similar, but to a less extreme. Mine actually does it in 2 places in the stem. Not sure why? For my case it may be because it has a large pepper on one side, and it pulls the plant that way.

Mine did this for the first time this year after topping it. Came back from vacation and it was almost lying down. Staked it up and it’s straightened itself now

Yes, I had one that did that last year! It got big, but it never grew out on that side that sticks out. There was just a big kink in the stem, and it kind of leaned to one side.
