My first tasting post here.

I'm a regular buyer from Anomaly and have visited multiple times so a little biased. Also I'm far from a professional taster so your mileage may very.

Light nose. Almost black in color, lots of legs.

Spice and dark fruit, but less fruity than a cab from the same producer. Was a bit harsh on the tannins right out of the bottle but opened up nicely and with a little food is rich and complex.

Did I do something wrong? Seems like I got down voted. First time I’ve posted here so let me know if I’m supposed to do something different

    No- fuck the haters
Petit Verdot is usually put in for blends. I’ve only had a few straight up. How would you compare it to a cab?

I love PV by itself but it is not the most common grape that can make a standalone wine. What I mean by that is that winemakers will almost always find that they can make a better wine by blending in other wines to it (as I have done numerous times).
