Current ice cream stash

Been lurking for awhile and have finally decided to post what I currently have. Some notes:

• I wish Tillamook offered pints. The size of their ice cream prevents me from trying more because it takes up too much space in the freezer. I also value variety over quantity and it takes me longer to finish these.

• Van Leeuwen Cookies & Cream Caramel swirl was an online ordering mistake. I didn’t realize it was vegan 😕 Did not like the consistency, but I can’t bring myself to throw this out.

• VL praline butter cake- I didn’t like the taste of the butter cake pieces. Maybe I just don’t like butter cake?

• Arethusa Farm Old Fashioned Almond and Toasted Coconut was 💣 💯 Someone else posted this the other day and I was so happy they liked this as much as I did. In the top 3 flavors I’ve tried this year. This brand is from CT and I think can only be found locally. Sorry there’s no shot of the inside since I finished it all today 🤪

• Frutero tropical fruit ice cream- I’ve seen this brand around but never got it until I saw the posts here and I’m so glad I did. Strong flavors, creamy and with real pieces of fruit in the coconut. It makes me want to try their other ones! (Mango, pineapple, guanabana, guava) From Philly. Was on sale at Acme for $4

• McConnell’s ice cream. My sister bought these- I wouldn’t have chosen these flavors. I prefer their peppermint stick and whiskey & pecan pralines. You have to visit the original location if you’re in Santa Barbara!

• I’m housesitting somewhere else so not pictured is Jeni’s Savannah Buttermint and Jeni’s Skillet Cinnamon Roll. I love anything mint so the buttermint was great. The caramel and cinnamon kind of separated in my cinnamon roll pint and was loaded on the bottom- I’m not sure if it was an anomaly, but it turned me off to it.

• I miss living in the Bay Area where my fridge regularly had Garden Creamery, Bi-Rite, Humphrey Slocombe and Mitchell’s. I’m surprised I don’t see a lot of postings of those brands here.
