Strawberry custard buns adventure for today. The recipe is from The Sweet Polish Kitchen by Ren Behan but I used creme pâtissière rather than the cheesecake filling.

Love a good strawberry pastry. What else have you made from the recipe book? I’m always disappointed when recipe books do not have digital version, and it makes it quite difficult to justify such a purchase, but between this and the previews on Amazon there seems to be some yummy looking recipes.

All of this looks amazing, but someone NEEDS to note those strawberries. They are beautiful! I need to find a better produce supplier I think.
