Mmm, Chili-crisp and eggs is one of those magical combinations. I go through a large jar every month or so.

Your egg is overcooked on the bottom and undercooked on top. Either lower the heat or cover it in the last 2 minutes. Covering it briefly cooks the top whites but leaves the yolk runny.

Can’t say chili crisp or David Chang will come get you

  4. This looks so simple and quick! Def going to give this a try with some Fly By Jing and maybe add some green onion or soy.

    Looks yummy.

This is one of my go-to meals. It’s so simple and yummy and filling and perfect. I also do it with French omelettes

  7. My comfort meal is garlic fried rice, fried eggs with some sambal belacan which is chili paste with some shrimp paste in it, highly recommended if you don’t mind the funkiness of shrimp paste

What is your *toasted chili garlic sauce* of choice?

What kind of chili crisp is this? Doesn’t look like *Lao Gan Ma*, the debris is too fine. *Mr. Bing*? *Momofuku*?

(I’m a Dapper Dan man, myself. And when I say “Dapper Dan” I mean “Lao Gan Ma Spicy Chili Crisp”.)

Chili crisp in a cold pan, crack egg on top, cook. My favorite!
