[Music]
hi guys and welcome back to the lazy
girls kitchen if you’re new I’m Maggie
and welcome today is super gloomy
outside New England is not giving us any
spring but I’m still going to share with
you a really comforting Easy Spring ish
dessert situation um these are just
baked chicken thighs I love this because
I marinated the night before so then
when I’m ready to bake it I just pop it
into the oven make some rice or boil
some potatoes or bake some and dinner is
ready to go so if you want to see
exactly how easy this is and how
delicious they are make sure you keep
watching so we are going to start out
with some vegetable oil you want about
34 cups and also you can substitute it
for um olive oil if you would like I’m
going to add in a whole um juice of a
whole lemon into this and then I’m going
to just give it a rough toss a mix I
mean and then we are going to start to
season we’re going to add in some
Mustard Seed I love this stuff I just
recently started to use it and it’s
fantastic we are going in with oregano
you want about a
tablespoon and then we are also going to
do some dried thyme if you want to use
freshen this feel
free so add that in and then we’re going
to go ahead and add in some poultry
seasoning I’ll link the one I use down
below but any poultry seasoning will do
you’re also going to add in some salt
and some pepper that you can do to taste
and then we’re going to give it again
another mix and we are going to finish
this off with some garlic if you don’t
have a garlic press and feel free just
to dice it finely but this will save you
a ton of
time so we’re going to mix everything
everything together now and it is time
to add in our chicken thighs you want to
make sure it’s um your chicken thighs
are skin on bone in and make sure
everything is nicely coated then we’re
going to cover it with some plastic wrap
and you’re going to put it in the
refrigerator for minimum of 4 hours I
like to do overnight to get maximum
flavor when you’re ready to bake you’re
going to put it in a cassal dish you’re
going to make sure that it’s skinside up
and the bone is down to the bottom
they’re going to release a lot of juice
so you’re going to get so much flavor
from
this and if you have any of the marinade
in the bowl make sure to take that out
and just put it all over your
chicken and we are going to bake this
for 45 to 50 minutes or until fully
cooked through at 385 de just add some
fresh lemon slices and you’re good to
go

  1. That sounds like a flavorful marinade. Some broasted potatoes could cook at the same time and would be a great side dish and save a little energy! Wow, you're getting close to 100K subscribers. Keep up the good work and have a great weekend. Take care.
