My first grill! Thanks for the feedback on my previous post on the original kettle vs premium. I found it at my local supermarket for $32 off! Now it’s time to grill!

Enjoy and perhaps take it outside first but welcome to the party.

Welcome! I went from gas, to offset, to now a 22″ and 26″ kettle. I’ll never use anything else. You are going to love it! After the burn in, what’s the first cook going to be? Enjoy it, they last forever and can do it all!

Congratulations. I just make Pork Butt today on mine, just like yours. Learn how to do things, everything was already solved. Take a time to understand the snake method, the SnS, the Vortex, buy some good quality thermometer, know that there is a rotisserie ring, understand how the vents work (I really mean it), I recommend a Walmart briquet that says Cowboy on it (they last!), buy some aluminum pans, heavy duty aluminum foil, butcher paper, a brisket knife … It is having fun all the time.
