Rock District Syrah from Reynvaan.

Beautiful ruby hues.

Picking up a smoky raw beef aroma, plums, damp forest, and some fresh cracked pepper. This is one of those wines you almost don't want to drink because that means you will gave to stop smelling it.

Medium body, medium acidity, totally smooth rounded tannins that are present so well integrated, medium to long finish. Not a cheap wine but something I still consider to be a really good QPR. Just loving this tonight. Definitely going to have to try some more from this producer in the future.

My first "Rocks" Syrah, but I think I'm hooked.

Intoxicating nose. Love it, that co-ferment of Marsanne is so good.
