This week I saw a video of Luciano Monosilio, nicknamed “The Carbonara King” making his signature dish and I knew I had to give it a try. I captured my attempt in this video. I really hope you like it 🙂
Ingredients (4 people):
4 Egg Yolks
200 g Guanciale Cut into Cubes
20 g Pecorino Romano Freshly Grated (Plus Extra for Garnish)

this is not carbonara
I was waiting for James Caan to walk in
Nice video. Good luck to anyone who tries to cook carbonara using this video as a guide.
cinematic cooking is amazing
like WOW it makes it even more appealing
Easily one of the best produced I've seen, and an excellent replication of Luciano's masterpiece. Bravo!!!
the sheen and warmth of this video is on par with some of the greatest movies ever made. actual peak cinematography. PLEASE, keep going, the top is waiting for you.
you should add 4k quality too in ur future vids, then it would be even more juicy
Style over substance. Not a good piece of Guanciale, not enough Guanciale, and it shouldn't be cubed. Also, the dish should be finished in the pan, not a bain marie.
Perfect.
No garlic, no cream, no any of those extra ingredients.
This is carbonara done right at any steps.
Great video and great music too.
Enjoy
Wow. What a video
Super Carbonara! 🙂
el huevo estaba muy pálido
Did you go and visit Luciano Monosilio in Rome?
Bravissimo, io il guanciale lo faccio soffriggere di più, mi piace più cotto
you're lighting and atmosphere are on par with the sweetness and comedy in your subtitles. Super well done, keep these up man, I want to see more!
Looks lovely but it needs more pepper.
how tf you only have 983 subscribers, this is astonishing
Carbonara is with Pecorino 😉
well done sir!
Can't everyone just shut up about how hes making that dish?
Who the fuck vares smfh.
You don't have to eat it this way…
Ok is this recipe for 4 people or 1? The description says 4 yolks but only one in the video. Did you just do this 1 x 4 for each serving?
man… I'm hungry
