welcome to healthy cooking for food
lovers my name is Mari FR G uh today
what we’re making is we have a little
dinner party here tonight and what I
want to prepare for a little entree is
something very simple everything that I
cook is always uh healthy so this is no
different it’s going to be a really
healthy dinner tonight so our little
entree is a very simple simple simple
entree it’s uh avocado and prawn salad
and I’ve prepared quite a few things
already here I caught uh the avocado I
was lucky to find some avocado that was
just perfect for today and what I did is
I cut them a few minutes ago but I put
some lemon juice on top so that stops
them from oxidizing or brown going brown
so they’re going to stay with the
beautiful green color so so uh they’re
ready to go on our little salad I’ve got
some prawns here that I have cooked
already so very very simple I use the
raw prawns or green
prawns and those are all peeled not
Tails so how I cook them is I uh make
sure that um I’m ready to go boil the
water with some
salt when the water is boiling I throw
them in 1
minute then I take them out and I put
them immediately in cold water to stop
the cooking uh you will notice if you
cook them too much they go curly curly
and they go like they look really
smaller so the worst thing to do is to
to cook them too much uh 1 minute 1 and
A2 minute is plenty for prawns so that’s
what we did here and I have some um
hearts of pal here just to add on to our
little salad it’s that simple so we’re
gonna just put that on on to the um
lettuce um now I’ve chosen um this
lettuce today just because at the
supermarket is the one that was uh
looking good you can use the Boston or
you can use any uh letters that you like
let’s start and you know I think I think
when when you make something that simple
and healthy
uh it has to look good don’t just throw
it together just take the time to make
it look good and so I’ve chosen some
nice leaves here and and I’m going to
put some avocado like this let’s

just there and add
a PRS just like this
and some
pound half of

pound so that’s how it’s going to look
simple I will add a a little bit of
parsley fresh parsley

now I’m going to build the other ones
later but um for our dressing for that I
made it yesterday my dressing in a
little jar like that I like to keep the
little glass jar uh for dressing because
it’s easy to shake it up it U clo really
well so what’s in it is there’s half a
lemon
juice the juice of half a lemon and
there’s uh three cloves of garlic and uh
olive
oil and so I wanted to be really
garlicky this uh this this dressing
so I’ve put three cloves of garlic here
and a little bit of seia for sweeten now
I always have a little bit of sweet in
the dressing now what I’m going to do
with this dressing is is is I’m going to
strain it because I don’t want to have
all this garlic in
my on my salad I just want the taste of
it so that’s why I made it yesterday and
I’ll let it be for overnight and now we
have our beautiful uh vinegarette that’s
garlic infused now I’m not going to
throw that I’m going to do something
with this later I’m sure I’ll find a way
of using it uh and we’re going to just
go and put a little
bit of our

uh it’s simple it’s fresh it’s delicious
