You should never use the crate as punishment, but I totally understand the need to get them out of your face so you don’t kill them 🙂 My dog once took my paycheck out of my purse and ate it. It was a Friday and I worked for a small office where I wouldn’t be able to get it replaced until Monday. I was broke. I had to return bottles and cans in order to buy DOG FOOD! I was so mad!

One time I was determined to make reuben sandwiches completely homemade. I raised the lamb, butchered it myself, made the corned beef marinade and did the 10 or so day brining.
I made the rye bread myself, and traded honey for a local woman’s homemade sauerkraut, and made the thousand island dressing by hand. The day comes and my son and I are so excited to try out our completely homemade sandwiches. I start shredding the corned beef and turn my back for just a second. When I look in the bowl again it’s ALL GONE. My new puppy had gotten on the counter and eaten the entire thing, except for maybe two tablespoons worth.
I made my son a tiny little sandwich with the remnants. He said it was delicious.

My cat ate the frosting off of a corner of a cake that I baked for my SIL baby shower. I took it to the party to show my sister I did bake a cake but the cat ate it
She whipped out a can of frosting, fixed it and served it. There were two cakes that day and everyone loved mine. Ugh! Nobody died.

If the dish had sucked, he would not have wanted it. So, accept the true chef’s awards. He really wanted that chicken. You are human. You can always order out or go pick up some tasty dishes. He, sadly has to resort to sneaking his tasty treats.

Hopefully she didn’t eat any of the onions. If you’re concerned about chicken bones, feed her some bread slices. Still recommend taking her in to your vet to get checked out and some bloodwork done. I’m a vet tech and would absolutely do this for my dog.

Ofc it’s a sheepadoodle. I got one too. Looks almost exactly like yours. Behaves just as miserably as yours too. You gotta play defense with food placement at all times. They are not to be trusted.
