Bittersweet commented that these oatmeal
cookies are very moist with a good
flavor add a cup of raisins or nuts if
you
desire to start making these awesome
oatmeal cookies Begin by creaming
together one cup of softened butter with
one cup of white
sugar
and one cup of packed brown
sugar next bead in two
eggs then stir in one teaspoon of
vanilla in another Bowl measure out the
dry ingredients you will need 2 cups of
all-purpose
flour

1 teaspoon of baking
soda 1 teaspoon of

salt and 1 and 1/2 teaspoon of ground
cinnamon mix
these now add the dry ingredients into
the butter and sugar mixture
and mix them
together add three cups of quick cooking
oats and mix together
thoroughly cover the dough and chill it
for at least 1
hour when the dough has chilled preheat
the oven to
375° and grease two cookie
sheets
scoop or roll the chilled dough into
Walnut sized balls and place them 2 in
apart on the greased cookie
sheets flatten each cookie with a large
Fork dipped in sugar
water helps the sugar stick to the
fork bake the cookies for 8 to 10
minutes in the preheated
oven allow the cookies to cool on the
baking sheet for 5 minutes before
transferring them to to a wire rack to
cool

I used Splenda instead of sugar and left
them round instead of flattening them
with a fork and they came out round soft
and perfect either way you can’t beat
these soft oatmeal
cookies

  1. baked these cookies yesterday. They are so delicious. next time I would cut down on the sugar. question, is pack brown sugar and regular cane sugar the same thing?

  2. Ok so I know this was 2 years ago but I just wanted to say this is the first recipe that actually works and tasted good!!! The cookies are soft and so delicious I rate this 10/10 !!

  3. Does anyone know if you have to use quick oats? They're not available in the country where I"m living. There's only some have ground up quick oat-type product that used for making a drink and regular rolled oats.

  5. I got 2.5 down cookies fr this batch. Everyone. Complimented them. Chewy in middle. Not hard. I added raisins to some and pecans to some. Thanks for the recipe

  8. I just found this recipe, and these cookies are the best! 💞😘
    I made 1/2 batch with Reese s peanut butter chips and the rest without. Also I used wax paper on my cookie sheet .The cookies came off real easy and was evenly browned. Thanks for great recipe and have a great day 🌺🌿
