I started growing this from a tomato in my fridge mid febuary, it’s about a foot tall and has flowers 😀 this is the first thing I’ve every grown, and yesterday I noticed a little guy popping out of the soil, is this a sucker? Thank you!!

I don’t think so. It looks like a weed. You have suckers growing on either side of your main stem, however.
Sometimes a sucker can pop out from under the soil. Especially if you buried the stem deep.
You can root suckers from any part of the plant, and clone a whole tomato plant. Not sure if you already knew…..

I have those guys in my yard, I think they’re some kind of palm. I let one grow once and it got the fan leafs that palms tend to have. They’re pretty cool though, they pop up and have a like 6” taproot by the time you see the first leaf.
