Welcome to and or back to my kitchen!! Today in my kitchen we will be making sausage gravy with biscuits!!
Ingredients:
1lb ground sausage
2 cups of heavy cream
2 tablespoons of the oil of your choice
salt
pepper
onion powder
garlic powder
1 can of biscuits

hi guys and welcome back to another
delicious episode of Shell’s homemade
and today guys we’re going to be making
some biscuits and gravy today now I’m
not going to make homemade biscuits so I
have flaky jumbo biscuits in a can which
is eight biscuits I have some Bob Evans
sausages I have some black pepper some
flour some garlic powder onion powder
and salt that is what we’re going to use
oh and I have some happy cream that is
what we’re going to use to make this
sauses and gravy all right guys so let’s
get started all right guys so I’mma do
what I hate doing the most it’s open up
you can of
biscuits no
it didn’t pop oh thank
God got me got me did a sneak attack and
sneak attack oh my God I hate opening
can of biscuit that’s why I usually make
my own from scratch cuz I don’t like
opening the
can let’s get that on there and see I
eat biscuits

right our biscuits we’re going to get
these inside of the oven I have a 3
preheated
375° oven I’m going get that in there
when we come back we going to start
Browning off those
sausages okay so we have our sausages in
our pan what we going to do we going to
break these
down and get them broke down like we
would do ground
beef then broken down
I so wooden spon
all right so we going to Brown these off
and as soon as this Browns up really
good we going to come back and start the
graving
part okay so our sausages has browned up
really well looks really
good so we don’t have much oil in here
so we need some
oil to start
over so what we’re going to do now is
I’m going to add some avocado o avocado
oil to My
Pan like so I
have my
flour and we just going to mix it all in
here
a little
more not that
much sprinkling it all in
there what we doing now is just Browning
up well cooking out this
the what I will taste so now let’s go
ahead and add some black
pepper well you know what how about I
just season it
afterward and it only takes like 30 to
40 seconds to cook out that flower
tea not long at
all I’m go in here with some of this
beautiful
cream that was about a cup and a half
heavy
cream we going let
this let’s go in with our black pepper
garlic
powder onion
powder like
that
okay let’s go in with a pinch of
salt cuz I going to add too much salt
because the sausages I already have salt
in it I don’t want to add too
much and we’re just mixing it
around and this did not take long at all
guys long at
all and if been thicken up little too
much I’m
keeping a little water on the side
to thend it out just a little
bit all right so it’s thickened let’s
just add a little water just the thing
that I just
head then don’t just T not too
much so I use a half a cup of water
thin it
out all
right so that’s it when we come back
we’re going to Plate this thing up with
those biscuits and this
gravy let’s give it the taste first see
if we need some salt or anything
maybe a pinch of
salt I’m going to add a little
more onion
powder a little more garlic
powder going to mix it
in just like so
and it should be ready
guys all right come back we going to
have beautiful biscuits and gravy all
right so let’s go ahead give it all
taste that oh my goodness this get

  1. You are a joy to watch period. I love how you put some butter on the biscuits before your delicious gravy, I do the same. I've never added garlic and onion powder, but now I will try that. I just got home from a Walmart grocery pickup and have some breakfast sausage to use in some baked ziti. I plan to use some of that and make it with some hints of Shelly's Ziti recipe. That's why I love to see your cooking…. hints of new ideas. I finally fixed my oven two days ago. It wasn't heating properly. My mom used to say fancy things with extras have more things to bread down.
