hello food lovers would you believe me
if I told you you could have a delicious
dinner ready in 15 minutes or
less this is our goto when we are short
on time and my three-year-old is
especially impressed with it he’s always
asking for it I’m talking about musles
in a savory marinada sauce served with a
few slices of sourdough toast to absorb
all that amazing sauce first we need to
get a couple of things from the pantry a
jar of homemade marinada sauce I canned
last
year and some
garlic the marinada sauce has all it
needs already some olive oil garlic
basil oregano and obviously
Tomatoes besides this we will need a
little more olive oil Frozen muscle
some crusty bread fresh
parsley garlic and that’s
it I get these muscles from Costco and
they’re cleaned and come in a garlic
butter
sauce but with our tomato sauce they
will taste even
better you can never have enough garlic
in a recipe so we’ll start by peeling a
few cloves
I grew this garlic in our garden last
year and it did amazing this year I
probably planted over 400
cloves let me know if you guys would
like me to give you a tour of the garden
sometime soon

we finally chopped the
garlic muscles are high in protein iron
zinc selenium omega-3 oil which helps
with brain development and heart health
who knew muscles were so healthy they’re
actually considered the super
food so give them a try if you haven’t
done it already they taste great I
promise then a few slic of crusty bread
it can be a baguette sour dough bread or
any kind really but I prefer the
crustier one Artisan
Style I have a few good bread recipes on
my channel such as feta cheese Greek
bread and French baguette bread so make
sure you give those a

try we will also need some fresh ly
chopped parsley it gives a really nice
flavor on the stove now we’ll heat a
tablespoon of olive
oil and we’ll saute the garlic for just
a couple of
minutes we don’t want it to Brown or
burn so keep an eye on it
and then we add our marinada
sauce would you like to see how I can

tomatoes please let me know in the

do we add some black pepper and salt if
needed but just keep in mind that the
sauce has already salt and the muscles
do

too when it start simmering it is time
to add the
muscles we combine everything together
together cover with a lid and let simmer
for about 5 minutes mixing from time to
time you can also add about A4 of a cup
of white wine to the sauce if you’d
like we then remove the lid and allow
the sauce to evaporate a little and
reduce maybe just another 5

minutes in the end we add the parsley

everything smells

amazing give it a mix and it is
[Music]
ready time to Plate it while the bread
is
toasting when we were kids we would go
visit my grandmother in the village and
my brother would go to the lake and
search for muscles in the mudy
waters he would come home and my grandma
would clean them and cook them in a
similar way so this dish always reminds
me of those good
times see that sauce that’s where all
the flavor is
you could serve them over some linguini
pasta or spaghetti pasta as

well now for the taste
test I had my best tested here with me
to give me the
verdict it looks like I was successful
this time
