    # Slow Cooker Southern-Style Fall-Off-The-Bone Pork Ribs:

    Ingredients:

    * 1 rack of pork ribs (baby back or St. Louis style)
    * 1/2 cup brown sugar
    * 2 tablespoons paprika
    * 1 tablespoon garlic powder
    * 1 tablespoon onion powder
    * 1 tablespoon chili powder
    * 1/2 tablespoon ground black pepper
    * 1/2 tablespoon salt
    * 1/2 tablespoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
    * 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
    * 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
    * BBQ sauce of your choice

    Instructions:

    1. In a small bowl, mix together the brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, black pepper, salt, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub.
    2. Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs (optional but recommended for tenderness).
    3. Rub the dry rub generously all over the ribs, making sure to cover both sides.
    4. Place the ribs in the slow cooker, standing them up along the edge of the pot, with the meatier side facing outwards.
    5. Mix together the apple cider vinegar and Worcestershire sauce, then pour over the ribs.
    6. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours, or on high for 3-4 hours, until the meat is tender and easily pulls away from the bone.
    7. Once the ribs are cooked, carefully remove them from the slow cooker and place them on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil.
    8. Preheat your oven broiler to high.
    9. Brush the ribs with your favorite BBQ sauce.
    10. Broil the ribs in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes, or until the sauce is caramelized and bubbly.
    11. Remove the ribs from the oven and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
    12. Slice the ribs between the bones and serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.

    I’ve done ribs in the slow cooker before. Can be amazing. Things to be careful of is melting all the fat out. Gets a bit tough at that point.
