Happend on to a YouTube video on how they are made the same still as always, drove out a bit to find my first can at a specialty store. Quality and amount of spice was perfect. Those ladies know what their doing. I'll attach video link if that's cool, in no way advertising but it's a great watch for those interested.

I saw the same video, I bought the same sardines and had the same reaction. Spice was perfect for me, but too spicy for my wife so I didn’t have to share.
I just had these for dinner.
In my opinion best sardines out there! The spicy olive oil is great and I love the spicy tomato sauce ones. I was lucky enough to visit the conservas pinhais factory while visiting Portugal and the experience is top notch.
We visited their factory, really awesome time!
It’s as clean as it gets. I noticed that the factory name is the same as another brand (not Nuri)…. I think they are made in the same factory
I’m just getting into canned fish and I find the sprats a bit more palatable.
I’ve had Nuri. I think I liked it, but need to get used to having something that big in my mouth.
