hello
and welcome to my kitchen my name is
rabbi lynn
brody sloam and today i’m going to share
with you my recipe for
killer knishes killer killer killer
killer killer
[Music]
they’re not called that because they’re
going to kill anybody we call them that
because the dough is
really easy since you buy it
um but people will never know and they
think you they
will think that you’ve been slaving over
the stove for a long time
i’ve made my filling in advance so i
have the recipe at the end of this video
and what i’m going to do is try to turn
this rectangle into a square
so i spread the flour out a little bit
and then take the rolling pin which has
a little bit of flour on
it and roll out the dough
take some of the filling shape it into a
little ball
put it in the middle and take the
opposing corners and join them
squeeze squeeze squeeze
make sure it’s nice and round and put
that
on the baking sheet so i’m going to take
an egg wash
which is a beaten egg with one teaspoon
of water
and i’m going to coat these and make
sure i get down the sides so the whole
thing will be
shiny and beautiful because we eat also
with our eyes
and then you’re going to stick the whole
thing in the oven for 15 minutes
you’re going to have a beautiful plate
of
luscious knishes people are going to
just
eat these up like mad i wish you all a
sweet and a beautiful
wonderful happy healthy year and i hope
that we can all be together
soon to celebrate bye
you
