Simply incredible, cooked to perfection after much practice. Recently been trying to cook my steaks rare almost blue rare. I think I finally got the hang of it. The best steak I’ve had in a long time, had to share. Usually people just think “Ew that’s raw” but hopefully someone here appreciates my attempt at Pittsburgh style.

That looks good and I would definitely eat it. But that’s not even close to Pittsburgh style. There’s zero char. It looks like a good rare steak don’t get mw wrong, but that’s not Pittsburgh.

This is Pittsburgh style FYI. Your internal temp looks good though. Did you cook on a nonstick on medium heat or something?

What makes it Pittsburgh style? Just looks rare with little sear.
More rare than I like. Cool for you tho. I enjoy when the fat starts to render and melt in your mouth. I’m not into chewy.

I don’t think it’s cooked at all. If you want it that way fair enough but what’s the point just eat it completely raw and save some time.
