Preparation
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cream butter and sugar together. Add eggs one at a time, beating well. Sift flour with baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add the flour mixture alternately with sour cream and vanilla.
- Pour into a well-buttered baking pan (9-by-13-inch). Combine sugar, cinnamon and nuts and sprinkle evenly over the top of the cake. Bake for 45 minutes or until a cake tester comes out clean. Cool, cut into 3-by-2-inch pieces as needed, and serve.
